Central Jakarta Mayor Motivates PPSU to Give Best Performance

Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma, called on PPSU personnel to improve their performance in the rainy season, on Friday (10/8).

According to him, motivation for PPSU could be realized through regular monitoring and evaluation.

"What we monitor must be clear on the target object. Then the monitoring must also be clear who will do the control and then continued with evaluation. This is because they bring benefits to the environment which means their existence is expected," he expressed, after he led the ceremony together with PPSU at Central Jakarta Mayor Office yard, Jalan Tanah Abang 1, Gambir.

He went on to say that the position of Central Jakarta is the center of the city so it becomes a serious concern if there is garbage or puddles. Therefore, we need the right movement, fast and more massive.

"When a flood occurs, they will jump into the field to deal with it," he said.

Tanah Abang Sub-district Head, Dicky Suherlan said, as many as 506 PPSU personnel in his region had worked optimally according to their duties, especially during the pandemic.

"Previously, we had also reminded about performance and discipline, as they (PPSU) have a multifunctional role so it is natural for someone to remind them," he closed.
